Asomiya Pratidin is an Assamese daily newspaper with five editions published from Guwahati, Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, and North Lakhimpur in India. It is the largest circulated Assamese daily and also publishes Sadin, Nandini, and Satori magazines.
Shri Jayanta Baruah and Asomiya Pratidin were awarded by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2008 for their contribution to vernacular daily newspapers. The Indian Language Newspapers Association hosted the award. It was also included in the LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS – 2008 as one of the most highly circulated newspapers of North Eastern States.
